Why We Collect Information 

LACET collects the information you provide through our forms and in email for one purpose: to stay in touch with you about our webinars, events, resources, and activities. It is important to us that you know how this information will be used and what options you have.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your information. We do not share, rent, or trade it with other organizations, companies, or institutions. Your contact information is visible only to the LACET Steering Committee.

AI Tools

LACET's work is about the thoughtful use of AI, and we try to hold ourselves to the same standard we discuss with colleagues. We may use de-identified information in AI tools — for example, to summarize the interests and questions raised across our community so we can plan relevant programming. De-identified means names, email addresses, and other identifying details are removed before the information is used this way. We do not put identifiable personal information into AI tools.

Your Choices

You can ask us to remove you from our mailing list, or to delete the information you've shared, at any time by emailing info.lacet@gmail.com. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option.

A Note on Our Forms

Our forms, such as our mailing list form, are hosted on Google Forms, and responses are stored in Google's systems, subject to Google's privacy practices.
